The new Fantasy Inn 2021 pop-up event will showcase UK and China-based emerging fashion designers, craftsmen and fashion brands with the specific goal of serving as a hybrid event to help ease their way into a new niche without having to make a sizeable investment that comes with opening and operating a full-time store. The event will be held in Covent Garden, London from 28 May—19 June 2021.
It’s one thing to have a vision of a perfect pop-up that integrates innovation in fashion, creative culture, art and design and quite another to build that vision into a preservation of living heritage. Enter Fantasy Inn 2021. The pop-up, which will be held in Covent Garden, London from 28 May—19 June 2021, will showcase UK and China-based emerging designers, craftsmen and fashion brands with the specific goal of serving as a hybrid event to help ease their way into a new niche without having to make a sizeable investment that comes with opening and operating a full-time store. The pop-up is driven by a deep-rooted belief that the right opportunity at the right time can accelerate growth potential and fuel innovation and growth in both markets through visibility in media and social media; focused campaigns and continuous effort to capture and hold potential consumers’ attention.
This fashion project, Fantasy Inn 2021, will be held in a two-floor 2,000 sq ft boutique in one of Central London’s most loved neighbourhoods Covent Garden. Loved by tourists and locals alike as one of the most pulsating, stylish areas in London, the charming cobbled courtyard is an oasis a stone’s throw from bustling streets and offers everything from aromatherapy massages and botanical facials to live opera at the courtyard while sipping champagne and a selection of food from the finest restaurants in London! Favoured by a slew of celebrities and tourists, too, who can indulge in retail therapy at Balenciaga and Céline, Nike and Wrangler. Women love those beauty boutiques from Chanel, Dior, Burberry and Bobbi Brown to Jo Malone, Diptyque, Aesop, Miller Harris and Penhaligon. There couldn’t have been a better location for the pop-up as participants are sure to draw the attention of their target audience—and meet them on their turf!
What’s more, there are a variety of diversified talks, workshops and activities scheduled each week to excite the media, the influencers, the A-list and the tourists on how we can collectively preserve our creative culture as living heritage through showcases, discussions and workshops on oil-painting, floristry, slow stitching, nail art session and bamboo weaving. Here, we would like to explain that ‘Living Heritage’ is characterised by the concept of ‘continuity’. It approaches heritage as ‘alive’ i.e. continually evolving and therefore the enormity of a pop-up where the UK and Chinese designers, craftsmen and fashion brands will showcase creative cultural skills, unique to them. Over and above, participants will have access to valued online customers residing in the UK and China, exclusive partnerships with influencers; ten local media providing high-end coverage of Fantasy Inn 2021 and continuous promotion on social media channels in the UK and China.
