Supermodel Bella Hadid collaborates with Frankies Bikinis for a new collection of swim and loungewear, which debuts on March 4. The collection and its campaign is special for Hadid and the label’s founder Francesca “Frankie” Aiello, who grew up together in Malibu.
Suede and denim fabrics, gemstone embellishment and Western-style belt strike a perfect balance between bohemian beachwear and rodeo. Standouts include a micro-dot red-and-white eyelet crop top with lace detailing, brown suede top, low-rise vintage-wash jeans, and gingham two-piece tankini.
Hadid and Aiello grew up together in Malibu and have remained close friends as they rose to prominence in their respective fields. “Working with Bella on this collection has been a dream come true. There’s nothing more special than creating with someone you love, especially someone as creative, smart, and kind as Bella,” Aiello said in a statement.
Per Vogue: ‘The collection is informed by their beachy, surf chick backgrounds, but also nods to times spent at the Hadid family farm in Pennsylvania, a place Gigi, her sister Bella and their friends regularly escape to for a break from their busy daily lives. For Frankie, the spot holds “so many memories of family and love and friendship”, which manifested in warm colours and nostalgic prints.’

The accompanying campaign was shot on a ranch owned by art director, Alana O’Herlihy — a longtime friend of Aiello and Hadid. Per L’Officiel: ‘The campaign captures the collection’s idyllic, free-spirited vibe. Bella took charge of styling, infusing the collection with her personal touch, alongside stylist Molly Dickson. Alana O’Herlihy, another friend of Hadid’s and Aiello’s, photographed everything on a sun-soaked ranch.’
“This collaboration means so much to me,” Hadid said in a statement. “I love creating, but to be able to do it with someone you love and collaborate well with is even better. Not only am I so proud of this collection that we worked so hard on, but to do it alongside one of my oldest friends makes it all the more special.”
The Bella Hadid x Frankies Bikinis collection consists of 108 pieces and will be released in three drops, the first on March 4, followed by drops in April and June 2025. Each drop will be available at frankiesbikinis.com.
