Allison Collins and Jessica Ramírez have launched The Consumer Collective
The Consumer Collective offers a comprehensive suite of services designed to empower fashion brands and retailers through bespoke research, consumer insights, competitive trend analysis, and strategic advice. Additionally, the firm organises in-store experience and design discovery, facilitates warm introductions to influential brands, investors, and service providers within their community, and provides storytelling guidance for content and communications strategy. Finally, their event services include ideation and coordination, making them an invaluable partner in the evolving retail landscape.
The founders have rich experience in the fashion ecosystem. Alison Collins spent nine years at WWD, identifying nascent consumer trends in the beauty industry, writing about beauty, mergers and acquisitions, and helping to manage people, workflow, and events. Ramírez is a retail expert who specialises in translating trends into actionable business insights. She has more than fifteen years of retail experience, including trend research, consumer insights, e-commerce, digital, retail analytics and store management. She was most recently the senior retail research analyst at Jane Hali and Associates advising mutual funds and hedge funds, and has also worked at WGSN, Burberry and Ted Baker.
“I am very excited to share I have started an advisory firm with Allison Collins who has been a close friend for thirteen years,” Ramirez posted on LinkedIn. “We started The Consumer Collective as we saw there is a disconnect when it comes to connecting the dots across brands, retail technology companies and investors in the consumer space. Our firm is positioned to matchmake across the three, while ensuring the consumer stays at the center of the conversation.”
“The Consumer Collective connects the dots across the consumer space to provide custom services and strategic advice to brands, investors and retail tech companies,” posted Collins on LinkedIn. “Our long-term goal is to build a community, bringing our connections together when it makes sense… Examples of things we can help with include but are not limited to: strategic advice, custom research, consumer insights, competitive trend analysis, content and communications strategy, surveys.”
