Trade And Fashion Academy Las Vegas, located in the University District of Fabulous Las Vegas, offers fashion, sewing, business and creative classes that range from basic introduction through advanced curriculum training and certification programs. The classes are thoughtfully kept small so that the technical lessons can be best explained and learned. 

Program Highlights: Introduction To Fashion Design is a comprehensive nine-week course that will outline industry terminology, introduction to the fashion design process and production, fashion sketching, textiles and colour stories, trend analysis and forecasting and fashion history. There will also be an introduction to sewing, sketching, designing, draping, drafting, pattern-making, and construction. This course includes eighty-one hours, divided into three hours per day, three days per week for nine weeks. This course will also include a ticket to MAGIC Fashion Trade Show Week. 

Business of Fashion will focus on starting and running a fashion business. Topics will include marketing and merchandising, trend forecasting and consumer behavior. This class will include three days a week with three hours per day. Introduction To Pattern Making is a four-week course where students and faculty meet thrice a week, three hours each day, for a total of thirty-six classroom hours. They will spend two weeks on the draping process and two weeks on flat-pattern drafting.

Sewing 101 – 201 helps students learn to sew from the beginning or jump in anywhere along their sewing journey.  Students have the option of choosing projects or bringing their own. During this course, students will meet for four hours each day, for eight classroom hours. Basic Britches is a sewing class that focuses on the development and construction of pants. This course will focus on the creation of pants with pockets, fly, zipper and waistband. The program is divided into sixteen hours: four hours each day for four days.
