Lewis Hamilton is recognised for his unparalleled achievements on the track, with the most Grand Prix race victories, podiums, and pole positions. The British racing driver won the Formula Renault 2.0 UK Championship (2003), Bahrain Superprix (2004), Formula 3 Euro Series Championship (2005), the Masters of Formula 3 Race (2005) and GP2 Series Championship (2006). In his Formula 1 career, Hamilton has won seven world titles, a record shared with German driver Michael Schumacher. Off the track, he advocates for diversity, equity, and inclusion in motorsport and social justice.

“lululemon product is such high quality, looks amazing, and ultimately delivers the performance I need it to,” said Lewis Hamilton in a statement. “I’m excited to partner with a brand that embraces a holistic approach to wellness. Together, we want to inspire our communities to be the best versions of themselves.”

The seven time world champion has been less-than-impressed by the training gear he’s worn in the past, telling GQ he even cut the sleeves off all of his workout tops last season. “The silhouette is very important,” he emphasised. “I love coloUr-matching things [too], you want to look good when you go somewhere to work out.”

“We’re thrilled to welcome Lewis to the lululemon collective as our newest Ambassador. Lewis is a game-changer in every sense of the word. His relentless commitment to performance, wellbeing, and impact align completely with what we stand for at lululemon,” said Nikki Neuburger, Chief Brand and Product Activation Officer at lululemon. “We’re excited to partner with Lewis to innovate, inspire, and create positive change together.”

Lewis will be elevated in lululemon’s global campaign, “No Holding Back.” The campaign highlights the dedication it takes to be a champion through the rigours of daily physical and mental training, highlighting the latest men’s training apparel, including the brand’s Metal Vent Tech franchise.

Since 2018, Lewis Hamilton had been a global ambassador for fashion brand Tommy Hilfiger, when he was driving for Mercedes-AMG’s Petronas’s Formula 1 team. That twelve-season partnership ended last year. This year, he began racing for Scuderia Ferrari. Hamilton is also revving up to co-chair the 2025 Met Gala with Pharrell Williams, A$AP Rocky, Colman Domingo, and Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour. Few know that he has worked in the fashion industry, including last year’s collaboration with former Dior men’s director Kim Jones.

About Luulemon

Founded in 1998 by Chip Wilson in Vancouver, British Columbia, Lululemon’s initial public offering in July 2007 raised reportedly $327.6 million. Christine Day- former co-president of Starbucks- became CEO in 2008. In 2013 the company made its third successive listing on Fortune’s Fastest-Growing Companies. That year Chip Wilson announced his resignation as Chairman and revealed that Laurent Potdevin would succeed him.

In 2014 Lululemon opened its first store in Europe: a flagship in Covent Garden, London. The following year Wilson announced he was resigning from the board and would be replaced by Michael Casey. In 2018 CEO Laurent Potdevin resigned. The following year Lululemon announced an investment in Mirror: a fitness startup that sells an interactive mirror with a camera and speakers for home workouts. In June 2020 Lululemon announced a $500 million deal to purchase Mirror inspired by an increasing trend of people focusing on virtual workouts at home instead of a gym- due to the pandemic.

Today, lululemon is a growing global company, extending its reach to people around the world who are pursuing an active, mindful, and balanced life, and athletic apparel that combines performance, style, and sensation. The team takes a decentralised strategic approach to its stores and operations, allowing for local community insight and consumer preference in each location.
