Kate Spade New York- part of the Tapestry group- recently opened its first stand-alone jewellery concept store in the newly opened Paddington Square Shopping Centre in London. The design aesthetic is chic and fresh with lacquered walls in the luxury fashion brand’s signature green and marble checkerboard floors.
The store was driven by Kate Spade’s strong global momentum in the jewellery segment. Kate Spade New York Chief Executive Officer and Brand President Liz Fraser told WWD, “We’ve found it to be a strong customer acquisition category — introducing new, often younger, consumers into the world of Kate Spade New York. It has also been a strong gifting category for our brand. We’ve seen success in styles designed for everyday luxuries, as well as for special occasion pieces.”
The brand’s fine jewellery segment has a beautiful collection of gold vermeil and sterling silver jewellery. These pieces were designed to celebrate both milestone achievements and the little joys in everyday life. Popular styles in this collection include a pair of sterling silver studs with lab-grown pavé diamonds. And domed mini hoops crafted with gold-tone metal adorned with pavé crystals. Or, go for the plated metal charm bracelet designed for football fans. If you want to wear your beau’s initials around your neck, the brand’s heart-shaped personalised pendant worn in a chain with the signature lobster claw closure, is perfect for you.
