Kindred Bravely Launches BareBond Cotton, a New Seamless Nursing Bra Collection

The maternity and nursing brand is introducing a bonded cotton range designed to combine support, breathability and a smoother fit, using its patent-pending SoftFuse technology across bras and matching underwear.

22 September 2026 — Oceanside, California — Kindred Bravely has launched BareBond Cotton, a new maternity and nursing intimates collection built around seamless bonded construction and breathable cotton.

The company is positioning BareBond as its most significant bra innovation in a decade, with three nursing-bra silhouettes and matching underwear designed for pregnancy, postpartum and breastfeeding. The range uses Kindred Bravely’s patent-pending SoftFuse technology, which places supportive ribbing into the garment without relying on traditional seams or underwires.

Kindred Bravely says the aim is to address a long-standing compromise in maternity lingerie: creating bras that feel soft and adaptable enough for changing bodies while still providing meaningful structure and support.

Bonded construction moves into maternity lingerie

Bonded construction has become increasingly common in performancewear and modern intimates because it allows brands to reduce visible seams and create smoother finishes. Kindred Bravely is applying that approach to maternity and nursing bras in cotton rather than relying on conventional cut-and-sew construction.

The BareBond Maternity & Nursing Bra combines breathable cotton with strategically placed SoftFuse ribbing designed to provide targeted support without adding bulk. It also uses a bonded hook-and-eye closure, removable pads and clip-down cups for nursing access. 

The brand says the bonded structure is designed to adapt gradually to the wearer’s body. Its product guidance notes that the bras may initially feel snug before relaxing and conforming with wear.

Three bra silhouettes target different daily needs

BareBond launches with three bra styles rather than a single hero product.

The standard BareBond Cotton Maternity & Nursing Bra is positioned as an everyday option, while the BareBond Cotton Maternity & Nursing Bralette uses a pull-on design without a hook-and-eye fastening. The bralette keeps the same bonded construction, nursing clips and removable pads while aiming for a softer, more relaxed fit. 

A plunge bra adds a lower neckline intended for tops and dresses with deeper cuts. It retains the same SoftFuse support system, bonded closure and nursing functionality. 

All three are also described as compatible with wearable breast pumps, broadening their role beyond conventional nursing access. 

Cotton is central to the proposition

One of the clearest points of differentiation is the fabric.

The collection uses a 92% cotton and 8% spandex blend, combining stretch with a softer, more breathable hand feel. Matching briefs use the same blend, with a 100% cotton gusset. 

That material choice supports the collection’s positioning around everyday wear. Pregnancy and postpartum clothing has to respond to changes in fit, temperature and sensitivity, so breathable fabrics can be particularly important in intimates.

Kindred Bravely also uses scalloped edges and a no-show bonded finish to keep the range visually closer to contemporary lingerie than purely functional maternitywear.

Matching underwear extends the collection beyond bras

BareBond has been launched as a coordinated system rather than a standalone nursing-bra product.

The matching maternity and postpartum underwear includes higher-rise briefs and thongs designed to sit smoothly under clothing. Both use bonded edges and the same soft cotton base, extending the seamless construction approach across the collection. 

The briefs are designed to provide moderate coverage throughout pregnancy and postpartum, while the thong offers a lower-profile option for everyday wear.
