Last week we published a teaser about this newest release of limited edition Ray-Ban Meta glasses. “From enhanced AI capabilities and expanded partner integrations to sleek hardware upgrades, these glasses are more powerful than ever.”

Meta and Ray-Ban have partnered with French luxury label Coperni, to debut a special edition line of Ray-Ban Meta x Coperni Limited Edition Glasses at Paris Fashion Week. Coperni themed its Fall 2025 show around “digital community”, pairing the showing with a LAN party. Models also wore the Ray-Ban Meta x Coperni Limited Edition to record from the runway, showing off the Ray-Ban Meta glasses’ hands-free recording capabilities.

Limited to just 3,600 pairs, Ray-Ban Meta x Coperni Limited Edition features the Ray-Ban Wayfarer frames in Transparent Black with Grey Mirrored lenses and Coperni logo on the arms. It’s a sleek, sophisticated look that highlights the combination of style, design, and cutting-edge technology.

“We didn’t want to do something crazy,” Coperni chief executive Arnaud Vaillant told BoF. “There is something also very important at Coperni, even if we do crazy fashion shows and everything, there is always this idea of wearability.”

The Ray-Ban Meta x Coperni Limited Edition sports all the same capabilities as the standard models—and they just keep getting more capable, making it possible for voice-controlled search and play content on Spotify and Amazon Music, and the ability for Meta AI to help the wearer remember things.

Members of the Meta Early Access program in the US and Canada can try out the new live AI and live translation features, getting help with day-to-day tasks or real-time translation between English and Spanish, French, or Italian.

“Obviously our product needs to be mainstream, but I think we can do things that are also very custom to a specific market,” Rocco Basilico, chief wearables officer at EssilorLuxottica, told BoF. “And I think it’s always important to keep fashion — high fashion even — in mind when we do this type of project, because there is like a trickling down to all the consumers.”

The Ray-Ban Meta x Coperni Limited Edition is available to purchase online from the Coperni, Meta and Ray-Ban websites from Monday, March 10, for $549 USD. Only 3,600 pairs will be produced for the limited release. PS There’s more to come from Ray-Ban and Meta, particularly smart glasses in new styles.

History Of Ray-Ban | Meta

Ray-Ban Stories smart glasses were the first product to come out of meta’s multi-year partnership with EssilorLuxottica. Together, they’re committed to delivering innovative technology and style while helping people better connect with friends and family. Wearers can create custom frames and lens combinations with Remix or choose from the selection of timeless colourways.

The second generation was renamed Ray-Ban | Meta. “The biggest input we received was around the desire for live-streaming,” EssilorLuxottica chief wearables officer Rocco Basilico told WWD. “We found that people were already using the frames to capture impactful moments. So, naturally the next progression was the ability to share these moments in real time while still being present.”

The updated feature allows users to capture their lives in real time with an ultra-wide 12 MP camera and five-mic system capable of live-streaming to Facebook and Instagram with high-quality photos and 1080p videos.

What makes it a game-changer?

Equipped with innovative technology and the power of AI, the pair of smart glasses recognises objects and provides information about what the user sees. For the end user, this means that once an image has been captured by the on-device camera on the right side of the frame, it will analyse the image of a location, object, surroundings or anything else and provide the required information.

The custom-built speaker and five mics with immersive audio recording delivers rich sound transmission for calls and videos. And the background noise suppression algorithm provides an enhanced calling experience like you’d expect from dedicated headphones. Ray-Ban Stories also pairs with the new Facebook View app, so wearers can share experiences with friends and followers on social media and WhatsApp.

Charging capacity is enhanced with up to 32 hours of additional battery life per fully charged case with a new redesigned, sleek brown charging case that mimics the classic Ray-Ban case.
