The North Face has previously worked on collaborative collections with Gucci, Comme des Garçons, and Supreme. This season, the label’s classic pieces have been reinterpreted by Aimé Leon Dore. Founded in 2014 by Teddy Santis, the menswear label creates elevated streetwear with a focus on simple yet impactful design.
The North Face X Aimé Leon Dore collection sees the brand’s classics reworked in the luxury fabrication of Aimé Leon Dore. The iconic Nuptse jacket, introduced in 1992, has been re-imagined in Casentino Wool sourced from a mill in southern Italy. A matching Casentino Wool hat is also a part the collection! Other key pieces in the drop include the Ballistic Nylon Borealis Backpack, the Leather North Dome Rope Bag, and the Verto Alpine Shoe. The line includes original looks, too, such as a waterproof shell jacket inspired by a firefighter’s coat. Featuring a three-layer waterproof shell with ballistic nylon overlays, the garment combines the classic design with modern materials. PS The D-rings on the sleeves are a nod to hardware on The North Face Base Camp Duffel.
“Our collaboration with Aimé Leon Dore inspired us to reimagine iconic The North Face pieces originally born on the mountain,” said David Whetstone, The North Face Director of Global Collaborations and Energy, in a statement. “Aimé Leon Dore’s focused point of view enhanced these icons from our DNA with careful consideration.”
The North Face X Aimé Leon Dore collection is set to launch on September 19, 2025 at Aimé Leon Dore’s New York and London locations and online, as well as in select The North Face stores in Asia. Prices range from $180 to $800.
