Creatify

The core vision of Creatify is to democratise high-performance video advertising through AI automation

SUMMARY

Creatify AI was founded on July 18, 2023, in Mountain View, California, by Yinan Na, Xin Zhou, and Ledell Wu, with the goal of transforming video advertising through AI. Drawing on experience from companies like Snap and Meta, the team built a platform that allows businesses to instantly generate short-form video ads using only a product link or description.

After months of development and internal testing, Creatify launched in early 2024 with focus on automation, lifelike AI avatars, and real-time performance tools. In May 2025, the company raised $15.5 million in Series A funding led by Kindred Ventures and WndrCo, accelerating its growth. With a flexible credit-based B2B SaaS model, Creatify caters to e-commerce merchants, D2C brands, and agencies—helping them scale creative production while optimising performance through batch ad generation and AdMax analytics module.

HISTORY

Creatify AI was founded on July 18, 2023, in Mountain View, California, by co‑founders Yinan Na, Xin Zhou, and Ledell Wu, who had previously worked together at companies like Snap and Meta. Launched to simplify the creation of short, social‑style video ads using artificial intelligence, Creatify allowed businesses to generate ads from a simple product link or description, powered by a library of realistic AI avatars.

Though officially launched in early 2024, the product had been under development for several months beforehand. As founding CTO Xin Zhou explained, the team experimented with analytics tools like Google Analytics and Amplitude before settling on PostHog, which better supported their A/B testing, feature flagging, and product analytics. This pre‑launch period was critical to refining the user experience and preparing the platform for a self‑serve funnel.

Creatify secured a Series A funding round in May 2025, led by Kindred Ventures and WndrCo, bringing in $15.5 million in total funding. The company operates on a B2B SaaS model wherein users purchase credits to generate credits‑based video ads, enabling scale based on usage. Typical customers include small e‑commerce merchants, D2C brands, and creative agencies.

From the outset, Creatify emphasised automation and efficiency. Key features include one‑click generation of video ads from product URLs, a roster of over 75 lifelike avatars, AI-based script writing, text‑to‑speech, digital twins, and batch mode capabilities for multi‑variant ad production. In May 2025, they introduced the AdMax analytics module, positioning Creatify as a more complete creative‑to‑performance automation tool that helps users test, analyze, and optimise ad workflows.

VISION

Creatify’s platform disrupts this model by enabling brands—especially lean e-commerce teams and solopreneurs—to generate studio-quality video ads in minutes using AI avatars, auto-generated scripts, and real-time performance insights. Their approach reduces dependence on agencies and creatives, offering a scalable, self-serve SaaS product that compresses the video ad workflow into a few clicks.

Creatify’s mission is to empower businesses of all sizes to create high-performing, data-driven video ads at scale by combining generative AI, automation, and performance analytics.
